Equipment is the strongest reason to keep moving. A new reward can suggest another way to assemble a character, and that immediate link between discovery and experimentation gives the adventure an approachable hook. The problem is that the opposition does not always ask enough of those changes. Repeated encounters and familiar environments can make a larger world feel less eventful than its size suggests. Cooperative play gives that routine more energy, but it cannot replace a stronger variety of situations. The Switch2 review also records faults that go beyond cosmetic roughness, including encounters requiring a restart.
