About this game
Gem Smashers combines bouncing movement with colour matching in a puzzle action game. After an invasion of Earth, three creatures that escaped capture set out to rescue their friends, breaking the crystals that imprison them and opposing the enemy IMBU. The character bounces up and down while players steer left and right. Touching colour-changing objects makes it possible to break gems of the matching colour. Clearing the gems opens the way onward. Differences in character speed and bounce, alongside mechanisms introduced during the journey, change how stages can be approached.
