About this game
Forever Skies is a PlayStation 5 adventure game centered on puzzle, maze, or device solving, character and object interaction, and objective or clue progression. Locations, objectives, and clues gradually open the main chapters, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Theme, character expression, and environmental clues need to support exploration together, while SSD streaming, 4K and HDR output, 3D audio, performance or quality modes, and high-density interfaces need to preserve feedback and information clarity together. The genre-specific limitation is that guidance, objective triggers, camera behavior, or dense text can create search and comprehension costs. Platform conditions also include install size, SSD space, patch version, DualSense battery life, visual mode and frame rate, online dependencies, PS VR2 requirements, and cross-generation version differences affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

A mobile home gives gathering and upgrades a tangible purpose.
The airship is the strongest reason to explore Forever Skies. Because your vehicle is also your home, gathering materials has an immediate purpose: another room, a repaired engine or an upgrade that opens a new route. Expanding and decorating that space creates attachment to the survival loop. Ruins above the toxic dust contrast with the stranger environments below, giving the journey a distinctive atmosphere. The variety of locations and encounters does not always keep pace with the amount of gathering, however, and combat is a supporting activity rather than a major attraction. PS5 controller navigation supports the routine, while optional solo play allows independent progress. Approach it as a gradual building expedition, plan supplies around upgrades, and expect repetition between discoveries.
Strengths
- The airship is both a home and transport
- Distinctive airborne wasteland scenery
Weaknesses
- Limited variation in gathering locations and encounters
Who it is for: Players who enjoy survival construction and gradual exploration
Play notes: Plan supplies around upgrades; online co-op requires connectivity and PS Plus.
