About this game
This collection includes The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind. One follows an amnesiac detective investigating a wealthy family's tragedy; the other connects a murder investigation with a high school's ghost story. Both put questioning and observation at the center of the investigation. Choose what to ask suspects, then move a magnifying-glass cursor over the scenery to inspect it. Gathering enough information opens new areas and encounters, while investigation notes let you revisit details about people and places. The remakes recreate the graphics and audio, and the original soundtrack remains selectable.

Best suited to readers who want to participate in a mystery through careful questioning.
Choosing questions and inspecting scenes can make reading feel like an active search for the next lead. Because progress depends on gathering enough information, patience with the investigation is part of the appeal.
Strengths
- Questioning and scene inspection give attentive readers concrete investigative actions.
Weaknesses
- Players who want to advance immediately may dislike having to complete the current information search.
Who it is for: Mystery readers who enjoy examining scenes and following up conversations.
Play notes: Both cases concern murder, and the school investigation includes a disturbing ghost story.
