About this game

Nicol sets out to rescue Stella and recover his stolen dimensional transporter. Move through the areas, attack bio-monsters and jump across hazards while seeking the parts hidden in crystal diamonds. Completing a continent’s collection activates the device for onward travel. Enemy contact and hazardous water or lava reduce energy, so exploration must account for the route back to safety. The original is a Famicom Disk System adventure, with continuation and a save of the continuation state.

8.3 / 10Famicom / NES

An exploration action game with a concrete collection goal.

The parts give searching a purpose beyond defeating enemies. Energy loss makes the path through hazards part of that search.

Strengths

  • Collection progress ties separate areas to the journey onward.

Who it is for: Players who like mapping areas while handling jumps and enemy attacks.
