Tokyo Shoseki

Tokyo Shoseki is associated here with the Famicom game Ankoku Shinwa - Yamato Takeru Densetsu. In an interview, a Zap developer recalls contracting with Tokyo Shoseki to produce the Famicom and MSX2 title; an independent game record names Zap as developer and Tokyo Shoseki as publisher. The adventure adapts the Japanese manga Ankoku Shinwa. This catalogue counts one canonical publishing link and corrects the company's category to publisher. Commissioning the game is not evidence that Tokyo Shoseki itself wrote its program.
