Developer Cyan's support page explicitly refers to physical Myst releases published by Broderbund, and the Strong Museum's collection description corroborates its early publishing role. This catalogue therefore retains one canonical game in a historical publisher relationship and corrects the old generic studio type to Publisher. Cyan remains the game's creator and developer. An original-era credit does not automatically cover later remakes, digital reissues or another rights holder; legal-name and punctuation variants are not mechanically merged from their spelling alone.
